Willa Weber – A Voice Beyond Boundaries, Healing Hearts and Inspiring Peace

Willa Weber is an international vocal talent, singing in no fewer than eleven languages, including her own fantasy language. Her classically trained style seamlessly blends operatic grandeur with the allure of world music, jazz, ambient, and elements of pop and dance.

With a master’s degree in piano performance, vocal artistry, and choral conducting—complemented by a diploma in vocal pedagogy—Willa brings a rare depth of musical expertise to her performances. Her warm mezzo-soprano voice resonates deeply within the soul, making each performance an unforgettable, transformational experience.

Willa’s eclectic life journey has taken her from India to New York, Poland to Los Angeles. She now calls Berlin and Sopot/Gdańsk her home.

Her career has been marked by outstanding collaborations, including concerts with the multiple Grammy-nominated Quartet San Francisco and a celebrated performance at Kehillat Israel Synagogue in Los Angeles alongside Cantor Chayim Frenkel. In Los Angeles, she also won hearts with her portrayal of Irena Sendler in a musical about the Polish heroine and recorded an album with Emmy award-winning film composer Martin Davich.

During the lockdown, Willa continued to inspire audiences online. In May 2020, she live-streamed her favorite arias for organ and soprano from the baroque monastery church of Weissenau. Later that year, the Goethe Institute and the German Consulate General in Gdańsk supported her Online Concert „Music Brings People Together in Tough Times“.

Over the past four years, Willa has captivated audiences in Poland with her timeless style and international crossover repertoire, performing at venues such as the Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre, Steinort Castle in Masuria, the German Embassy in Warsaw, and Teatr Atelier im. Agnieszki Osieckiej.

Her voice has long found a place in the film world, enriching various productions with its depth and emotion. Most recently, she set the mood for screenings at the Filmfestival Oberschwaben and Filmklangfestival Göppingen in Germany, particularly for the documentary „BELINA – Music for Peace“ by Marc Böttcher.

A dedicated interpreter of classical music, Willa has released two highly successful soprano-organ albums: „Per una voce e organo,“ recorded at Klosterkirche Weissenau in Germany, and „Lumen“, supported by the Goethe Institute in Warsaw, captured at Dom Oliwa in Gdańsk with Hanna Dys on the organ. In 2024, she performed warmly received concerts featuring Gregorian chants and other classical works in Southern Germany and organized by the Polska Filharmonia in Gdansk in St. Nicholas Church in Gdańsk.

Her recent collaborations with acclaimed composers Eric Heitmann and Emiliano Bruguera have further expanded her reach. In December 2024, “Peaceful Sky” emerged from an intense Kyiv-Berlin collaboration with Ukrainian music producer and videographer Maks Histibe.
